Fulton, MO – The Hannibal-LaGrange University Women's Soccer Team traveled to Fulton, Missouri to take on conference opponent William Woods in the final matchup of the year. The majority of the game was played in the Owls' offensive half of the field as they out shot the Trojans by 30 attempts. in the end, the Trojans' defense held throughout the 90 minutes of regular time. But in the 97th minute, WWU was able to score and end the game.

"Our goal was to win or tie so we could advance to the postseason tournament, and obviously we came up short of that. I am so proud of the ladies. They left everything on the field and if the season has to come to a close, that is the way to do it. This team has made loads of progress this year and I cannot wait to see how they are going to continue to grow and get better. It has been such a blessing to coach them."
