Point Look, MO – The Hannibal-LaGrange University Men's Basketball Team was on the road to take on Missouri Valley College on Tuesday night. The Trojans led by one point at the half and had the game tied at 62 all with seven minutes to play. But foul trouble for HLGU and the ability of the Vikings to get to the free-thow line was the difference in the game..

- Michael Hood had his best game of the year as he scored 26 points. He went 5-13 from behind the arc and 9-10 from the free-throw line. Hood also added six rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
- Grant Peters added 17 points and seven rebounds. He fouled out of the game with over two minutes left.
INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
- The Trojans made the first basket of the game just 15 second in on a three from Michael Hood. But then did not score again until the 18th minute.
- The Vikings went on a few scoring runs putting them up by as many as 10 points in the first half.
- HLGU made several big shots to tie the game at 30 all with 4:32 left in the first.
- Hood made another three to give the Trojans a five point lead (37-32) with less than two minute left in the first half.
- At the half, HLGU led 41-40
- In the second half, with 13:19 on the clock, Landon Hall hit a three to put the Trojans up 56-49, their biggest lead of the game.
- David Brown hit a jumper to tie the game at 60 with 8:29 remaining.
- Teh Vikings hit five quick points and HLGU had a hill to climb as fouling and shooting free-throws occurred as the game came to a close.
- The big difference in the game between the two teams was the amount of free-throws MVC was granted. The Vikings were 30-40 from behind the arc in the second half.
