Elgin, IL – The Hannibal-LaGrange University Women's Volleyball Team played in the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) North Central Regional on Friday evening.  HLGU faced the Trojans of Trinity International University.  TIU jumped out to an early lead in the first set as HLGU stayed in the set but were never able to catch up.  Set two and three were back and forth with each team winning one.  But in the fourth set TIU began to inch away as the ladies continued to push to get close.  Unfortunately, in the end Trinity International won and advance to play Judson tomorrow.

• "I am proud of the accomplishments we have made throughout the season.  We need to be physically and mentally tough to be able to stay strong through post season.  All in all, I am proud of my girls and I cannot wait to take the momentum of this season and capitalize on it for next year."
