Columbia, MO – The Hannibal-LaGrange University Men's Soccer Team kicked off the AMC conference tournament against the number six team in the nation Columbia College. The Cougars were able to take a lead in the first and keep the lead going into half. The Trojans were able to answer back early in the second half with a goal by Simon Conrad assisted by Juan Pablo Suazo Cerpa to tie the game at 1-1. That was until Jaume Garcia was able to find the back of the net to put the Trojans up 2-1 in the 76th minute. HLGU was able to hold on to secure the victory knocking off Columbia College and advancing to the next round of the tournament.
