Moberly, MO – The Hannibal-LaGrange University Women's Basketball Team turned their luck around on Saturday as they traveled to Moberly, Missouri to take on Central Christian College of the Bible. Coming into the game, the Trojans had hit a five-game skid which went by the wayside after a decisive 61-32 win over the Saints.

- Ashlyn Vermeer led the Trojans in scoring by going 4-5 from the field and 3-6 from the free-throw stripe. She finished with 11 points and five rebounds.

- The Trojans started off the game strong by going 8-12 (66.7%) from the floor in the first quarter while the Saints went just 4-11 (36.4%).
- HLGU took a ten-point lead into the break after the first quarter (20-10).
- The second quarter was more of the same for the Trojans as they went right back to work, immediately going on a 6-0 run and took a 30-15 lead into halftime.
- HLGU never let up, continuously adding to their lead each quarter in the second half. The end result – a 61-32 Trojan win.
- HLGU moved the ball and got it inside well scoring 28 points in the paint over the game, the Saints scored 16.
- The Trojans capitalized well off of Central Christian's turnovers by scoring 27 points from them, Central Christian scored seven from HLGU turnovers.
