Hannibal, MO – The Hannibal-LaGrange University Men's Basketball Team hosted conference opponent Central Baptist College on Saturday afternoon. The Trojan defense was unable to slow down the Mustang offense as Central Baptist won 61-28.

• Wyatt Ward scored eight points off the bench, including two of the Trojan's three made three-point shots, also adding two rebounds and one assist.

• Grant Peters led the team in points tallying 11 going 5-10 from the field while grabbing four boards and one assist.

• The Mustang offense went to work quickly going on a 15-0 run to start the game while CBC's defense held HLGU scoreless for the first nine minutes of the game.

• Central Baptist held the Trojans to just 12 points in the first half and HLGU took an 18-point deficit into halftime.

• Central Baptist came out of the half almost the same way they did in the first half, immediately going on an 11-0 run in the first three minutes.

• The Trojans did not shoot well going 22.2% (12-54) from the field in the game.

• The Mustangs out-rebounded HLGU 45-29.

• Central Baptist was able to capitalize off of 15 Trojan turnovers by scoring 18 points.
