Hannibal, MO – Hannibal-LaGrange University Volleyball hosted Fontbonne University on Saturday afternoon.  The Trojans came out won a close first set after some back and forth play.  Fontbonne fought back and won the second set with some solid defense.  But the final two sets may have been the best stretch of play by the Trojans this season.  HLGU gained confidence in their offense and hitters/setters began to click.  This marks the third straight win for the volleyball team.

• HLGU had five players with more than six kills as the setters connections with the hitters continues to grow.  

NEXT TIME OUT

• The Trojans will open conference play at home this week against Columbia College on Tuesday, September 21 at 7 PM.  They will turn around and host Stephens College of Friday at 6 PM.
