Pomroys win in three sets over Trojans

Hannibal, MO – Hannibal-LaGrange University Volleyball hosted St. Mary of the Woods from Indiana on Tuesday evening. The game was delayed a bit because of some travel issues but everyone arrived safely. The Trojans struggled offensively in the first two sets and combined for five kills. The Pomroys ended up winning the game in three sets but HLGU began to turn things around in the third set.

  • The Trojans will travel to Iowa Wesleyan University on Thursday, September 9 to play in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa at 7 PM. They will not return to the Mabee Sports Complex till September 21 when they begin conference play against Columbia College.

  • "We did not have control at any part of the game. We can be a very strong offensive and defensive team, but only our defensive side was there tonight. Hopefully the ladies will take this game as a learning experience and grow from it."
