Batesville, AR – The Hannibal-LaGrange University Women's Basketball Team continued their road trip in Arkansas with a conference matchup against Lyon College on Saturday afternoon. The last meeting between these two schools came in February 2021 when Lyon beat HLGU 74-29.

• Jillian Lockard led the Trojans in scoring, recording eight points and five rebounds.
• Taylor Flake tallied seven points going 3-5 from the field, including the Trojans lone three-point play. She added five rebounds, three assists, one steal.

• Lyon began the game by going on an 8-2 run in the first five minutes.
• The Trojans battled back from being down early and cut the deficit to four at the end of the first quarter.
• Shooting was a struggle for both teams in the second quarter with neither team reaching 15% from the field for the quarter, Lyon put up five points while HLGU scored just two before halftime.
• The Scots shot 91.7% from the free throw line scoring 11 of their 12 attempts. HLGU went 0-2 from the line.
• Lyon was able to capitalize off of Trojan turnovers scoring 20 points off the 24 HLGU turnovers. HLGU was only able to score four points off 13 Scot turnovers.
