Hannibal, MO – The Hannibal-LaGrange University Women's Basketball Team took on Central Baptist College at home Tuesday night. HLGU battled throughout the game lost 78-51 in the end. The Trojans have a break before their next game on January 5, at home, at 5:30 PM.

• Taylor Flake led the Trojans in scoring with 13 points. She also had five rebounds and two assists.
• Jade Scroggins was right behind Flake with 12 points. Scroggins also finished with five rebounds, two assists, one block, and one steal.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE

• After allowing a 9-2 run in the first three minutes of the game, the Trojans fought their way back to end the first quarter trailing 13-12. 
• The Mustangs caught fire in the second quarter out-scoring HLGU 32-8 in the quarter. They led 45-20 at the half.
• Hannibal-LaGrange kept pace with CBC throughout the second half, showing strong perseverance although they weren't able to cut into their lead, and fell 78-51.
• Turnovers continued to hurt the Trojans, they had 25 turnovers tonight leading to 23 points for CBC. Central Baptist had 10 turnovers leading to eight Trojan points.
• Rebounds were even overall at 42 apiece.
