Canton, MO - The Hannibal-LaGrange University Women's Volleyball Team played against the Wildcats from Culver-Stockton College on Tuesday evening. The Trojans have struggled to find a win against CSC dating back to 2012. That trend continued last night with the first set being tied 2-2 the Wildcats went on a seven point run. But HLGU put up three straight points near the end of the set to build some confidence moving into the second set. In the second set, the Lady Trojans were able to put some rallies together and were more than halfway through leading 18-17. But the Wildcats were able to close the second set on a run and outscored HLGU 8-1. The third set was similar to the first, as the ladies got stuck in a rotation and CSC rallied off several points. In the end, the Wildcats won in three sets.

THOUGHTS FROM COACH BLAKEMORE
- "We need to be able to start strong and then be consistent throughout. We have not don that yet this year. Our second set was not bad as the flow of the game was good. Hoping for a better outcome when we play them at the Missouri Valley Tournament this coming weekend."
