Columbia, MO - The Hannibal-LaGrange University Women's Volleyball Team started American Midwest Conference play on Tuesday night against the Columbia Cougars.  The Cougars defeated the two time defending National Champions (Missouri Baptist) last week and entered the NAIA top 25 rankings this week.  HLGU played one of their better games of the year despite what the score shows.  They continue to grow each game and show improvement throughout.

• Statistically the Cougars terminated the ball at a higher attacking percentage but blocking and digging stats were very similar.

• The Trojans will be traveling back to Columbia on Thursday evening to compete against Stephens College.  The game is set to begin at 6 PM.
