Men's Soccer Upsets #21 Missouri Baptist in AMC Thriller

Hannibal, MO -?The Hannibal-LaGrange Men's Soccer Team took down Missouri Baptist Spartans, who are currently ranked #21 in the NAIA, Saturday afternoon at home. The Trojan defense was dominant throughout the game, turning away each scoring opportunity from the Spartans. HLGU pulled away in the second half with a 67th minute goal off the foot of Benjamin Contreras. The victory marked the first win for the Trojans against MBU since 2019. HLGU will be back in action Tuesday, October 24, at 11 AM against University of Health Sciences & Pharmacy in St. Louis.
