Hannibal, MO - The Hannibal-LaGrange University Women's Volleyball Team played against the Comets from Cottey College on Friday evening. This was the first time that Cottey has visited Hannibal since joining the AMC. The Trojans came out on top of the first set winning 25-23. The Comets won the next two sets by the same score, but in their favor. The forth set continued to be back and forth as well before HLGU finished it off by a score of 26-24. Senior,
Layla Horn had the clutch kill to force game five. Cottey had a four point stretch in the middle of the fifth set to pull out the win.
