Columbia, MO – The Hannibal-LaGrange University Men's Basketball Team participated in the Hampton Inn Thanksgiving Classic, hosted by Columbia College, this past weekend. They faced off against (RV) Briar Cliff University on Friday evening. The Trojans battled, and ultimately the game was decided by free-throws and HLGU fell 76-61.
HLGU continued play on Saturday afternoon against Dakota Wesleyan University. Janssen Flotow scored a season-high 39 points. Both teams were about even in nearly every statistic besides free-throw shooting as the Tigers downed the Trojans 81-71. HLGU will return home to face College of the Ozarks on Tuesday, November 28, at 7 PM.
