Lady Trojans Battle Back to Split Games in Florida on Day Three

Melbourne, FL - The Hannibal-LaGrange University Softball Team picked up their first win of the Space Coast Spring Games Tuesday afternoon. Four Trojans had multi-hit games in addition to Sierra Akins' four innings of two hit work in the first game, leading to a 3-2 win. HLGU struggled again offensively in the second game, falling 11-0. The Trojans will have an off-day Wednesday before two more games on Thursday.

  • "It was a hard fought game against Montreat.  We pulled through at the end.  in the other game, we seemed to ahve one bad inning.  We are working to be more consistent.  Even thorugh the scores don't show it we are figuring out ways to get better."
