Hannibal, Mo. – The 21
st annual American Midwest Conference (AMC) Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships will be held on Friday, November 8 on the campus of Hannibal-LaGrange University in Hannibal, Missouri.
The Championships will begin with the men's 8k race at 10:30 am, with the women's 6k race set to follow at approximately 11:30 am.
The course loops through nearly the entire campus of Hannibal-LaGrange. The course includes inclines and declines, goes around some of the campus's outdoor athletic fields, and a trail section through the nearby wooded area.
On the men's side, two AMC schools, Hannibal-LaGrange and Williams Baptist, competed in the Trojan Invitational that followed the same course in October.
Three AMC schools competed in the Trojan Invitational on the women's side, Hannibal-LaGrange, Williams Baptist, and Health Sciences and Pharmacy.
William Woods enters the Championships as defending champions on the men's side, after winning the school's fourth championship in 2023.
Missouri Baptist comes in as defending champions on the women's side, having won its third team championship last fall.
Following the women's Championship race, the AMC will hold an awards ceremony near the finish line.
