St. Louis, MO – The Hannibal-LaGrange University Softball Team split a doubleheader with University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy on Tuesday afternoon in St. Louis. The first game, an extra innings affair going into 10 innings, ended with UHSP walking off a 5-4 win. Six Trojan hitters recorded multi-hit games with Anita Kraus going 3-5 with an RBI and Madison Staley going 2-4 with two doubles and an RBI. In game two, Faith Hanson pitched five scoreless innings in relief, allowing two hits, and picking up the win. Payton Seip went 2-2, driving in two runs, while Staley went 2-4 again with two runs scored and a stolen base. The Trojans will travel to Culver-Stockton College on April 23 for a doubleheader starting at 3 pm.
