Hannibal, MO – Hannibal-LaGrange turned in a complete team effort in its 71–59 win, controlling the game with balance, efficiency, and toughness on the glass. The Trojans placed five players in double figures, led by Kell Estep's efficient 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting and four three-pointers, while Ian McDonald and Davaughn Hueitt each added 15. Hueitt anchored the interior with a double-double, pulling down 10 rebounds as HLG out rebounded Crowley's Ridge 43–38 and generated 12 second-chance points. The Trojans were sharp early, shooting 60 percent from three in the first half to build momentum, and they protected the ball with just 10 turnovers while forcing 14. Defensively, HLG limited CRC to 33 percent from deep and turned stops into 13 points off turnovers, building a lead as large as 20 and maintaining control throughout the second half.
