Hannibal, MO – The Hannibal-LaGrange University Women's Basketball Team won Thursday night with a strong defensive performance, pulling away in the fourth quarter to defeat Crowley's Ridge College 61-50. Abby White led the Trojans with 16 points, while Mykaela Elliott recorded a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds to help secure the conference victory.

Hannibal-LaGrange responded in the second quarter, holding the Pioneers to just six points while taking a 26-18 lead into halftime.
The Trojans shot 43.75% (7-16) from the field in the third quarter and stretched their lead to as many as 13 midway through the period.
Hannibal-LaGrange sealed the victory at the free throw line in the fourth quarter, converting 10-13 attempts to outscore Crowley's Ridge 20-15 in the final frame.
