Ian Cespedes joins the HLGU Men's Soccer program as a freshman pursuing a degree in Business. Originally from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, Ian brings a strong combination of athletic achievement, academic excellence, and leadership experience to campus.
A passionate soccer player and dedicated student, Ian has consistently excelled both on the field and in the classroom. His commitment to personal growth and competition has allowed him to represent his country internationally while earning recognition for his academic accomplishments.

- Named Men's Soccer Player of the Year at his high school
- Runner-up in his school's soccer tournament during his senior year
- Represented the Dominican Republic at the Costa Blanca Cup in Spain, helping his team advance to the quarterfinals
- Competed in five national championships with two different teams
- Advanced to the Round of 16 in his current national championship competition
- Earned back-to-back awards for participation in Model United Nations
- Won Best Entrepreneurship Project in his school's annual competition
