Nathan Hammock Headshot

Nathan Hammock

Nathan Hammock has taken on the position of head coach for the new shotgun sports team at Hannibal-LaGrange University.

Hammock has been an avid outdoorsman since he was 11 years old. He grew up hunting turkey, quail, pheasant, and waterfowl with his dad, grandpa, and brother. “Bird hunting is one of my passions as it allows you to be outdoors and make memories with family and friends. Bird hunting opened the door to clay sports which has brought me to where I am today. I am thrilled to be starting the shotgun program at HLGU and look forward to investing in the lives of athletes participating in the program.”

Hammock graduated with honors from Hannibal-LaGrange University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Music Education and is pursuing his Masters of Music.  He taught at Hannibal Middle School during the 2015-2016 school year before coming to HLGU. He currently resides in Hannibal with his wife Gabrielle.
