1st team all district- volleyball
All Regional Honorable Mention- volleyball
2nd team all conference- Basketball

Why do you participate in athletics?

I began participating in sports to get out of the house, and give myself something to do. After trying it I fell in love and I began playing four sports in high school. Sports have always been a way to help me fit in and feel comfortable.

How has partipating in athletics prepared you for success?

Sports have taught me how to be a leader, but also follow a coach. Sports have shown me that you have to accept losses and come back stronger. Lastly sports have taught me that you don't get anything you don't work hard for.

How would you describe HLGU's athletic community?

I would describe HLGU's athletic community as family. I was quickly able to tell how close everyone was, every player cares about the other player's success.

What are your three favorite things about HLGU not related to athletics?

I love the Christian environment, and the fact that all the staff is invested in my success.
I also love the serenity of the environment, it's peaceful.
Lastly, I love how small the school is. The size gives the students a chance to build stronger relationships.
