Elgin, IL – The Hannibal-LaGrange University Men's Basketball Team continued postseason play Wednesday night as they battled the Judson University Eagles in the Regional Round of the NCCAA National Tournament. This is the first meeting between the two schools.

STAT TRACKER

• Khalib Becton led the team with 13 points. He also had six rebounds and one assist.
• Grant Peters recorded 11 points, six rebounds, two steals, and one assist.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE

• In the first half, the Trojans shot 11-27 (40.7%) and the Eagles shot 11-33 (33.3%).
• After a very competitive first half with five lead changes, HLGU found themselves in the lead 24-23.
• Khalib Becton and Landon Hall shot 100% from the field throughout the second half.
• With just over nine minute remaining in the game HLGU went on a run to post their larges lead of the game, 18 (48-30)
• The Eagles continued to claw their way back into the game though and by the three minute mark the Trojans only led by four.
• HLGU was able to overcome their turnover deficit as they had 17 total turnovers compared to the Eagle's 11.
• The Trojans had one more rebound than Judson with 38-37.
