O'Fallon, MO - The Hannibal-LaGrange University Baseball Team took part in the AMC Championship this week with games against Central Baptist College and Williams Baptist University. In the first game against Central Baptist, the Mustangs put up eight runs in the first inning. Trojan starter,
Adam Lange bounced back and allowed just two more runs in his complete game performance. HLGU could not overcome the early deficit, falling 10-3. In game two against Williams Baptist, HLGU again found itself in an early hole, 5-0 after the first inning. The Trojans fought back, scoring six runs in the sixth and seventh innings to take a 6-5 lead. The Eagles put up a four spot in the eighth to win the game 9-6. The Trojans finish the year 12-27 and will take the field again in the spring for the 2025 season.
