Hannibal, MO – The Hannibal-LaGrange University Softball Team split its doubleheader with Stephens College on Monday afternoon. In game one, the Trojan offense tallied three hits, falling 5-0. Madyson Klostermann threw a complete game, allowing five runs on 11 hits, while fanning six across seven innings. In game two, four HLGU hitters recorded multi-hit games, downing the Stars 6-5. Alexa Bedford recorded the complete game win for the Trojans in the circle, allowing five runs on seven hits in her seven innings pitched. Following game two, three seniors, Anita Kraus, Andie McCool, and Madison Staley were honored for their commitment and accomplishments with the program. The Trojans will take on University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis on April 22 in a doubleheader starting at 1 pm.
