Hannibal, MO- The American Midwest Conference (AMC) has announced the 2025-26 AMC Men's Basketball season awards, All-Conference Teams, Champions of Character Team and Academic All-Conference Team. The awards and notable headlines are as follows:

• Josh Talton is a two-time All-Conference honoree.
• Davaughn Hueitt is the second freshman to win Defensive Player of the Year and the first to claim both Freshman of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season. He is the second Trojan to be named AMC Defensive Player of the Year since 2019 and the third Trojan to earn AMC Freshman of the Year honors (first since 1999).
• Coach of the Year Jason Durst is in his 21st season at the helm of the Trojans. This marks just the third time since 1998–99 that the program has won 10 or more conference games. The Trojans' 12 conference victories are their most since winning 15 in 2018–19. Durst also guided the team to the highest tournament seed in program history, earning his first Coach of the Year honor.
