FULTON, Mo. — The Hannibal-LaGrange University women's soccer team fell 9-0 to William Woods University Tuesday night.

The Owls took control early, scoring four times in the opening 14 minutes. Megan Hughes opened the scoring at 1:06 before KG Malefo added two goals in a span of just over a minute. Addie Robins then found the net in the 14th minute to give William Woods a 4-0 advantage.

William Woods added another goal just before halftime when Kirsten Kramer scored in the 40th minute, sending the Owls into the break with a 5-0 lead.

The Owls continued their offensive pressure in the second half, scoring four more goals to secure the 9-0 victory.

William Woods finished with 33 shots, including 20 on goal, while HLGU was held without a shot. The Trojans goalkeeper made 11 saves on the night.

Despite the difficult result, HLGU will look to regroup and continue its development as the Trojans move forward with the 2026 season.

HLGU falls to 0-2-0 on the season, while William Woods improves to 1-1-0.
