Kansas City, MO - The Hannibal-LaGrange University Men's Wrestling Team competed in four duals on Saturday evening at Avila University.  The first dual, HLGU faced Central Methodist University and fell by a score of 18-33. The Trojans would then take on the host school Avila University where they would fall 14-47. The third duel of the day would be against Hastings College and the Trojans fell 0-48. The Trojans ended the day dueling against Benedictine College in which they fell 12-45.

• Gavin Morawitz went 3-1 on the day. Only losing to the #8 ranked wrestler in the nation. Morawitz improves to 20-8 and is ranked #20 in the national ranking.

• "I can't say enough about the effort my guys put out on the mat on Saturday. While we didn't get the results we wanted. This is the best we have looked as a team on the mat. Very proud of the way we ended the first half of the season. Excited to get back into the room after the break to get right back to work."
