Wichita, KS - The Hannibal-LaGrange University Wrestling Program took Gavin Morawitz to the NAIA National Wrestling Tournament this past weekend.  As a freshman he has performed extremely well not only on the mat but representing HLGU.  Morawitz went 28-12 overall in his first season and has a lot to look forward to throughout his collegiate career.

Coach Daniel Capp stated, "I am very proud of Gavin as his first year comes to a close.  It took a lot of hard work for him to get here and I am excited for what the future holds for this young man.  Time to start working towards our goals for next season!"

Morawitz went 1-2 at Nationals with his two loses coming against the #11 and #12 ranked wrestler in the 157 weight class.
