Hannibal, MO - The Hannibal-LaGrange University Men's and Women's Cross Country teams hosted their first home meet since 2019 on Saturday morning.  HLGU partnered with Hannibal Public Schools to also have high school and middle school events all on the same day.  The weather was perfect and everyone involved was thankful for all the work put into the course.  It was a small meet, being the first annual Trojan Invitational but the hopes are to double in size for next year.

• "We could not have asked for a better day of weather for this meet, God truly blessed us with perfect racing conditions. A lot of work went into the design of this course and it was great to see season bests and PR's in all divisions. Our men and women came out and ran great races on their home course. It was also great to put together and alumni team, we enjoyed getting several of them back on campus to compete. We are excited for the growth of this meet next fall, but for now look to finish out this season strong. We will compete again this Friday at the Greenville Invitational."
