Hannibal, MO – The Hannibal-LaGrange University Softball Team is excited to announce the signing of Emma Angel for the 2023-24 school term.  She is the daughter of Tammy and Jeff Angel from Laddonia, Missouri.  Angel sights her parents as being the most influential people in her life because of the continued guidance and to always work hard to get what you want.  She attended Community R-VI and has also played travel ball for the Diamond Wildcats out of Jefferson City, Missouri. 

Angel is finishing her second year at North Central Missouri College where she hit 0.386, had 11 RBIs, and 16 runs scored.  Her favorite position to play on defense is in the outfield but her offense has garnered several accomplishments including: All-Conference (3 years), All-District (3 years), All-Region (3 years), and the MVP of the CAC Conference her senior year.  Angel plans on majoring in Elementary Education.

Coach Dan Hurst added, "We are really looking forward to having Emma join us at HLGU. She can play several defensive positions well and has proven to be effective at the plate. Emma is an excellent student and will fit in nicely with our team culture."
